Controlled Classification Solutions Integrated with Grinding Circuits
Dynamic type separators are classification systems designed especially for operation in combination with grinding circuits, allowing product fineness to be adjusted in a controlled manner. Thanks to their dynamic operating principle, sharper separation can be achieved and coarse fractions can be controlled within the system. This helps maintain a more consistent target product size and improves overall process efficiency.
Operating Principle
Dynamic type separators operate on the principle of a rotating rotor or cage working together with airflow. Material is separated into fine and coarse fractions by the combined effect of centrifugal force generated by the rotor and air drag force.
The cut point is controlled by adjusting rotor speed. Coarse fraction is returned to the grinding circuit while the fine product is carried by airflow for collection. This closed-circuit configuration significantly improves process efficiency.
Precise and Controlled Separation Solutions for Fine Dry Classification
Air classifying separators are developed for applications requiring finer dry classification. With capacity characteristics that vary according to fan diameter, airflow rate, and product size, they stand out in processes where more controlled fine product separation is required. They help ensure precise control of product fineness in fine mineral applications.
Operating Principle
Air classifying separators separate particles by size using the balance between airflow and gravity/centrifugal forces. Fine particles are carried by the airflow while coarse particles are separated by gravitational effect.
Precise classification at different product sizes is achievable by adjusting fan diameter (Ø500-Ø1600 mm) and airflow rate (7,000-65,000 m³/h). Typical product size is in the range of d97: 20-90 µm.
High-Precision Solutions for Fine and Ultra-Fine Dry Classification
Turbo type separators are developed for fine and ultra-fine dry classification applications requiring lower cut points and higher separation accuracy. The combined action of rotor and airflow provides more stable cut points and more precise classification in very fine products. They offer an effective solution especially for the classification of fine mineral powders, filler products, and dry processes requiring tight particle size control.
Operating Principle
Turbo type separators operate on the principle of a high-speed rotor working together with optimized airflow. The high centrifugal force generated by the rotor enables more precise separation of fine particles.
Cut point can be precisely controlled in the range of d97: 5-45 µm through fan diameter (Ø400-Ø650 mm), airflow rate (4,500-12,000 m³/h), and rotor speed parameters.
